This has been the year of "The Garden Hob", we've made loads. One of the most common questions we are asked is, "can I use my Netherton Foundry spun iron pan on the garden Hob?" Well the answer is definitely yes, they are absolutely perfect for outdoor cooking on flames.
However following a conversation we had with Phil (The Demo Chef) Leverington, we decided to make the perfect pan for outdoor use, we've called it the Glamping Pan. It's a real 8 inch spun iron pan with an easily detachable handle for convenient storage and carrying. All held together with big brass wing nuts.
This pan isn't a thin camping toy, it's got a secure handle, solid brass fixing, oak handle covers you can take off if the pan needs to go into the oven or grill. It has the same tried and tested pre-seasoned easy clean finish that can be restored at home when required.
Best of all, it stores conveniently inside a Garden Hob and when winter comes, it will do the same great job on your cooker hob or our Kitchen Companion.
