Fieldsports Journal: Netherton Foundry provides some useful retail therapy
Who doesn’t love a glossy magazine? A shiny cover, the sheer weight of all those pages and the promise of inspiration and aspiration between the covers.

But FIELDSPORTS is a cut above; gilded rather than glossy, the title eye-catching picked out in gold, along with the tagline, “time well spent”. Reading this publication took us in to a fascinating world, about which, we admit, we know only a little. And what struck us was the focus on conservation, the emphasis on the environment and the stress on sustainability. The issue we have been sent has been guest edited by wild food chef Mike Robinson and as well as discussing the ethics behind solutions to Britian’s overpopulation of deer, he has also contributed some delicious recipes and tips for perfect fire cooking.

Which is where we come in…the real excitement for us came when we arrived at the Retail Therapy pages to find two of our favourite fire cooking accessories featured. Perfect for the post-shoot cook out, the chapa and the Crochta pot with stake are both easily transported and are not only ideal for outdoor cooking, but can be brought indoors for us in the kitchen too.
