The Times: Lapping up the lentil love.


Once the poor relations of the food world, lentils were regarded as dull and worthy, beloved only by “sandal wearing hippies”. But how things have changed with pulses of all kinds now at the forefront of modern cooking. In Saturday's (01.03.25) The Times and The Sunday Times, Hannah Evans has taken advantage of the ready availability of good quality, ready-cooked pulses to cook up six delicious lentil based recipes, including this Really Easy Dal, cooked and served up in a Netherton prospector pan.
