Copper found in Mountain…………full of stunning food by Tomos Parry
As a chef/restaurateur looking to survive and thrive, you certainly don’t want factors such as “cost of living crisis”, “ food shortages” and “staffing headaches” on the ingredients list of your recipe for success. Both of these are what the hospitality industry is facing, with so many stories of closures and crises. We bid so long and good luck to the Ethicurean and the Fat Walrus who have both announced their farewells this week. We wish everyone at these establishments all the best for whatever the future holds.
Stories such as these make good news in the sector all the more welcome. So we are thrilled to read about the opening of Mountain restaurant in Soho, the latest venture headed by Brat’s Tomos Parry. And it is within the fiery interior of Mountain that the ray of light glints and sparkles on the new copper prospector pans commissioned from Netherton Foundry.
Tomos has shared some of his Basque country meets homeland Wales recipes in the Times, illustrated with beautiful photos by Romas Foord.
