Netherton at the Ludlow spring festival

Netherton Foundry will be exhibiting at the Ludlow Spring Festival ,

9th and 10th of May 2015.

We will have our full range of cast and spun iron cookware plus a few new items and some show specials.

What it's all about

7 years ago the team behind the Ludlow Food Festival decided to create a weekend event, centred on Ludlow Castle, where the emphasis is on enjoying some of the great food and drink produced in and around Ludlow and the Marches, coupled with live music and other entertainment for all the family. We're aiming for a great atmosphere, with seriously good beer, bread, bangers and much much more!

We've joined forces with the Marches Transport Festival, which is usually held on the same weekend every year, so you'll also be able to see a fascinating collection of vintage and classic cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles at the same time.

We've also partnered up with SIBA to bring over 190 real ales from over 50 brewers based across the Wales and West region - the result being the most spectacular beer festival the region has to offer. With a live music stage, located within the marquee, you can enjoy great beer while listening to some top names in music all inside Ludlow Castle, the most impressive pub we've ever frequented!

Food and Drink is what the team do well; so we couldn't resist bringing you some of old favourites along with a few exhibitors you wont have met before, so make sure you get sampling the delights that are on offer. All of this served up alongside free talks and demonstrations where the emphasis is on you having a go, so dig in and get messy making beer pizza, real bread and cake art!

Entry to Ludlow Spring Festival also includes entry to the whole of Ludlow Castle, the wonderfully atmospheric ruined castle that towers over the neighbouring countryside, hills and forests.

And the town of Ludlow itself is well worth a visit in its own right. It's one of the finest small towns in Britain, with a fascinating mixture of medieval and Georgian architecture, surrounded by unspoilt countryside.

So, it's not just a festival of beer, bread and bangers, there'll be quite a few surprises in store - brought to you by the team that created the famous Ludlow Food Festival, and held in the stunning surroundings of Ludlow Castle.

Hard to believe, isn’t it. All of those beers. All of those people. All of those exhibitors. All of that incredible food. And it all started around a pub table.
