News from near & far in the Shropshire Star
Our thanks go to reporter Megan Jones and photographer Tim Thursfield from the Shropshire Star for this great piece highlighting our Ukrainian steel pans.
We normally source all our materials as close to the workshops as possible, but in the circumstances the opportunity to work with fellow metal workers in Ukraine felt like the right thing to do. We are currently making our second batch of these very special pans; made from Ukrainian steel, stamped UKR to signify the origin of the material and accompanied by a recipe from Ukrainian food writer, Olia Hercules, whose brother, a front line volunteer in mentioned in the article.
But the best part about all of this is that not only do you get a great pan, but for every one we sell we will donate £10 to Unicef who are working to support the children impacted by the Russian invasion.
