Netherton Foundry on “Made in Britain” ITV4

Netherton Foundry on “Made in Britain” ITV4

Update : 3/10/18

DID YOU SEE US LAST NIGHT?
Well, it was all very exciting as Netherton was on the TV for the first time. We featured on the new ITV4 programme, Made In Britain which tells the story of companies that still proudly bash out products in these isles. If you saw it, I'm sure you will agree that the stars were undoubtedly Netherton's Carl, Anne and Mandy who showed us their pan making skills with lots of enthusiasm. They did us proud. The camera followed us round the works, producing our classic spun black iron frying pan.

We were in exalted company as this episode also featured Brompton BicycleTyrells Potato Crisps and Maldon Sea Salt with our friend Chef Adam Grey. Our thanks go out to Daisybeck Studios who made the programme for ITV4 and who treated us so kindly. The whole experience was fun but very, very scary.

If you missed us: you can find us on catch TV here for the next month. It's a 60 minute programme and the Netherton segment starts at 34:15, thats the last quarter of the programme. Here's the link  https://www.itv.com/hub/made-in-britain/2a5692a0002

Make sure you watch the next episode next Tuesday night that includes Victorian rock and the iconic Barbour jacket.

Earlier in the summer, we were filmed for a new ITV4 programme called Made In Britain.

The premise for the programme is straightforward, the camera follows the production of a number of iconic British made brands. This includes Brompton Bikes, Maldon Sea Salt, Dr Martens, Wagon Wheels, Gray- Nicolls cricket bats, Tyrrells Crisps, Bremont watches….and Netherton Foundry.  As you can imagine we are very excited by this but have been sworn to secrecy by Di Evans the Director until now. The first of the series goes out on ITV4 on Tuesday 25 September 2018 from 8.00 until 9.00pm. Featured products include classic boots, biscuits and bats.

See us making of Netherton Foundry pans in the second episode, which will been aired on Tuesday 2nd October 2018 at 8pm on channel  ITV 4

Here's what ITV4 say about Episode 2
