Delivery, Terms, Conditions & Returns

Delivery: Please read before placing your order   

We aim to make and despatch your order within 7 working days and you will receive a notification when it is on its way.
A few products take longer to make (up to 28 days), so please ensure you have read the description section of the product you have chosen.
If your order includes any long lead time items, then the entire order will be despatched together.
If we find that we cannot meet the target shipment date, we will let you know.
If you need a present sooner, why not buy a Gift Voucher and let your loved one choose the exact pan they desire? 
Alternatively check our stockists and give them a call to see if they have what you want.
 
All of our products are hand assembled, from spinning the pans to applying the seasoning oil.
We don’t hold large stocks and in most cases your Netherton product is built to order.
If you are not sure, please don't buy. As a small company, we are not geared up for “try before you buy” purchases.  Please choose your items carefully, so that you will be happy with what you receive.
You are buying directly from a small workshop, hand making individually crafted pans. We are not a mega corporation!

You can ask us about product choice, product care or the progress of your order.
If you do ring and don’t get to speak to someone immediately, send us an email and we will get back to you. 
Please don’t use our social media channels for enquiries as your messages may get lost.
 
Returns, exchanges and repairs – please email or ring us before returning any items to ensure they do not get lost.
 
Spare parts are available; check if what you want is available here, but if you can’t find what you need, write to us sales@netherton-foundry.co.uk
 
When you place an order, you’ll get an auto acknowledgement. If it doesn’t pop into your in box within half an hour, please check your spam folder.
We will update orders by email with confirmation of despatch and tracking details if applicable (tracking details aren’t available for items sent by Royal Mail). 
The tax point for your order is our despatch date to you; a VAT invoice is available upon request.

Free UK delivery on all orders:

This includes the British mainland, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Wight and Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.

Orders for UK addresses are despatched using a reputable tracked courier service. These should arrive within 48 hours of our sending you an email confirming the parcel has been shipped. 
Small items such as spares may be sent using an untracked service.

Deliveries to the European Union

Deliveries to:  Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. 
When you have made your selections, go to the checkout. We will calculate the product price, add the shipping cost and add your local VAT (not British VAT). The price you pay is a fully delivered price, there will be no extra charges.

Deliveries to EEA countries and the Crown Dependencies: 

Deliveries to the EEA countries of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. Also Switzerland, Channel Isles.
When you have made your selections, go to the checkout. We will calculate the product price, add the shipping cost but we will not add any VAT. When the product arrives in your country, the courier will ask you to pay the local VAT (and sometimes a small handling fee) and they will then deliver your parcel. If requested we can supply a separate invoice to present to your local tax authorities. 

Overseas delivery (including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and the rest of the world!) 

You can buy online with us for most parts of the world.

We have a selection of products that include free DHL delivery* to all addresses in the contiguous USA. Click here to view this selection.
If you are ordering from the USA, this page displays the price you pay in US dollars.
Parcels are shipped daily to the USA and typically arrive within 6 working days.

Terms, Conditions & Returns

We guarantee your new Netherton Foundry Shropshire item against faulty materials or poor workmanship for 24-months from date of purchase, provided that your usage is for personal domestic use only and that the product has been maintained according to the care and use instructions provided with the product or available on this website.

Before ordering Netherton Foundry iron cookware:

Read the FAQ's and the Product care information page here to ensure you are able and prepared to look after seasoned iron cookware as we recommend. 
Check dimensions of the pan or product you have chosen. Ensure it will fit on or in your oven or cupboard etc. If you wish to exchange the pan, we will charge the additional shipping costs and any difference in product cost. Pay particular attention to the handle length when considering oven re-seasoning, will it fit in your oven or will you need to re-season on the hob? If in doubt please call us for further advice. 

Before ordering Netherton Foundry copper cookware:

The tin lining on our copper cookware is not covered by the warranty as we cannot predict wear and use. Please read the FAQ's and the detailed information and care on the copper cookware pages and ensure that you are able and prepared to use them as we recommend. 

Warped or buckled pans: 

Your Warranty does not cover buckling caused by dropping a hot pan in cold water or fast heating on an induction hob or buckling caused by inappropriate ring/hob size. Before use read all of page: Re-seasoning, the care of cast, black and spun iron

If you think you have a problem with your product or need advice on how to use it, please use these contact details.

Always contact us through one of these channels BEFORE returning an item.
We find in most cases we can resolve the problem over the phone or by email.

Before contacting us:

Take a note of your product's Identification number (electrical items and clocks only).
You can find this on the label on the bottom of the product or on the back of your clock.
In order to help you, we will need to know this number each time you contact us.

Always retain the original packaging and proof of purchase;

If you return an item to us, always enclose a copy receipt and contact details (name, contact, etc) please.
If you are returning an item within 14-days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we can only offer a product refund if the item is returned in an as-new (UN-USED) condition, and is saleable once checked by us.
We reserve the right to deduct our original shipping costs from refunds.

Did you buy your product from us?

If your product purchase is made via a retailer or any web seller other than Netherton Foundry or Netherton Foundry on Amazon and eBay, please be aware it is that company that has your money, not us.
Therefore, if you want to return an item and a credit is authorised, it is that company who has your money, and therefore it is that company which will refund your purchase price.

Postage:

We will not reimburse return postage charges, if the item is returned under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or where an item is returned but is found to be fault free. Therefore, always contact us first, as described above.
Your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, are not affected. 

Stock levels / Our webshop lists product availability as follows:

In stock:  This means we have all the materials to make your product and will make and despatch within our published delivery times.. 
Pre order: You can place an order but it usually means we are waiting for materials to arrive shortly and it will probably take longer than our published delivery times.
Out of stock: This means we are missing materials and we don't know when they will arrive. In this case you can email / write to us and we'll get back to you when the item is available.
