An elegant copper champagne bucket with copper handles.

This champagne bucket is hand spun pure copper, with copper handles adorned with a Netherton brass rivet.

Champagne buckets and wine coolers have been been found as part of fine dining and celebrations since the 19th century. The ideal temperature for serving champagne is 8-10°C so it is necessary to be keep the bottle cooled before serving, a champagne bucket allows this to be done conveniently at the table. From their beginning champagne buckets were required to look elegant and be finely crafted, predominantly from copper or silver. In keeping with this history our champagne bucket is hand spun, in our Shropshire workshops, from pure copper. The copper handles are riveted to the body using copper rivets, and then finished with our signature Netherton brass rivet. The smooth tapered sides and rolled top give this champagne bucket a striking silhouette.

Cleaning

After use, wipe clean and dry thoroughly. Never put the copper champagne bucket in the dishwasher. Store the champagne bucket in a dry airy place.

Over time a greenish patina may develop on a copper surface. This is perfectly fine on your bucket if it is not going to touch food. If you want to remove this, the bucket can be polished using a copper cleaner and a soft cloth, then rinsed with water and dried thoroughly. This should keep the copper looking shiny.
